2010 Rochester ’97 Invitational Games, Aug 27th-29th, 2010

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to participate in our 4th annual Rochester 97 AAA Invitational Games, Aug 27th-29th, 2010.  The 97 Alliance Team will play host at summers end to the finest Bantom Minor hockey teams from both the US and Canada as they do battle to determine the 4th annual ’97 AAA Invitational Games Champions.

In 2009, the overall Gold Champions were the Toronto Jr. Candiens as they edged the New Jersey Rockets by a score of 3-2. The Silver playoff bracket saw the New Jersey Devils wear that crown in a 5-3 game over the Ajax Pickering Raiders.  Last season’s tournament attendees will attest to what a great kick off it was to a season full of competition and sportsmanship!  We have put together a great package of on-ice and off-ice activities that will provide the entire family with a memorable experience.

In 2010 we will continue with the format that made ’09 so successful. We will again guarantee 5 games (15-15-15 stop time periods) to every team in our 20 team field. Once more we will crown 2 champions, both an overall Gold Champion and a Silver Consolation Champion. Our game count and 15 minute stop time periods give you excellent value for your registration dollar.

We will make available other activities during the weekend such as Rochester Red Wings (Minnesota Twins AAA Affiliate) baseball games or Rochester Rhino soccer games. Rochester is host to some of the best golf courses in the Northeast, excellent dining, and a host of other attractions.  Check out our “Visitor Info” page for more details.
Our objective is to make this a memorable experience for your entire hockey family.  Savor the moments and enjoy them as these will quickly pass as our children grow.  Promote sportsmanship, growth and development to make the game more fun for there is no greater game on earth!
